Fifth Grade Music Class, Fall, 2014

The arts have converged in the music room! The 5th grade general music class is learning about American folk music and dance while constructing, decorating, and playing the Appalachian Dulcimers! The students have even strung their personalized dulcimers and are having fun learning to play them in the traditional manner. Thank you to volunteers Rick Barter, Emily Bracale, Kristi Losquadro, Mary & Dean Booher, and Bill Edmondson for lending a hand in various stages with this project. It is truly quite the project and the results are amazing!
