Dr. Beth Weinmann's Visit

New Composition Premiered by Emerson Orchestra!

Guest composer, Dr. Beth Wiemann, professor of theory, composition, and clarinet at the University of Maine, has composed "Running to the Shore" specifically for our musicians in the Emerson Orchestra. In order to tailor her work for our orchestra, Dr. Wiemann visited several of our rehearsals. It was an honor to have her as guest conductor when "Running to the Shore" premiered in concert on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, 7:00!
